On day two of the event, the competitors made the run down the classic "Brooklyn Taven" stage. This stage, widely regarded as the best rally stage in North America is followed by a cult of hardcore rally enthusiasts. The Frantic Four Team completed the stage in a personal best, sub seven minute time, and is now the 4th fastest team/driver all time on the stage. Frantic Four Racing successfully debuted the new car at the Wild West ProRally in the fall of 2000. For the inagural run, our team drove a purposefully reserved pace in an effort to learn the new cars handling characteristics. Even with this plan, the team managed to set a fastest stage time at the ORV park. No small feat with the stock 2.5RS motor and competition like the works Hyundia drivers who won the event.

The Frantic Four team entered it's first ProRally event in the spring of 2000 at the Oregon Trail event held on the coast of Oregon in the Tillamook National Forest. Eric and Kenny started the event with confidence but unsure how they would fare against much faster competition. The team surprised everyone by finishing the first day of racing in 4th place overall. This meant that on Sunday, they were 4th on the road following only the works Hyundia team and a privately entered team driving a Mitsubishi Evo 5. Unfortunately, our Mazda 323 lost it's transmission later in the day spoiling a potentially great finish.
